LILI ROCHEFORT

Lili (full name Emilie Rochefort) (born November 3, 1986) is a character in theTekken fighting game series. Along with Sergei Dragunov, she is one of the two characters first introduced in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. She is also set to appear in Tekken 6. Her fighting style is monegasque street fighting.

Nothing much is known of Lili yet, though she appears somewhat childish, compassionate and arrogant. However, deep down, Lili really is a gentle person and a very sweet young lady.

In general, Lili’s behavior appears haughty, as she seems to strive for grace, beauty, and poise with every movement—even and especially during fights. She is also very confident in her fighting abilities, as shown by her winning and pre-match quotes. Her behavior, however, is split between efforts to sate her own need for fighting and a deep love for her father, who abhors violence. As an example of the latter, before fighting her Stage Four sub-boss, Ganryu, Lili says that he has robust eyebrows, just like her father’s.

Appearance and Outfits

Lili is a Monegasque teenager with straight long honey-blonde hair trimmed with bangs that cover her forehead and has light grey eyes. She wears a white Victorian-style dress that ends in a skirt, along with white boots and a red-and-black gingham-patterned ascot tie. This is described as her primary outfit.

Story

Lili is the only daughter of a wealthy oil magnate in Monaco, living in a very luxurious suburban mansion with her butler, Sebastian

Tekken 5: DR

Four years ago, when Lili was 12 years old, she was attacked by a criminal group making profits from kidnappings. She struggled violently to free herself, and unexpectedly took out one of her captors. At that moment, she first realized she took pleasure in defeating her opponents.

She only wants to please her father, but she knows that he despises fighting because he wants his daughter to be a prim and proper lady, not a thug. Troubled by her situation, she tells herself, “I don’t want Father to be upset with me…but I also want to fight.” Her desire to fight couldn’t be controlled, and for this reason, she used her family’s private jet to travel abroad to take part in worldwide street fighting tournaments, which she enjoyed immensely. This was done under the guise of a “vacation” from her homeland.

One day, after defeating an opponent in San Francisco, she acquired an invitation to The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 5. Lili noticed that the sponsor of the tournament, the Mishima Zaibatsu, had caused her father much trouble in the past. With the assumption of the Mishima Zaibatsu being a useful potential asset to her father, she was determined to take part in the tournament and win to put an end to her father’s business troubles.

Tekken 6 and BR

Lili competed in the King Of Iron Fist Tournament 5 behind her father’s back, but was defeated by Asuka Kazama. Once her father had found out about Lili’s participation, she was grounded, preventing her from claiming revenge on Asuka.

One day, her father’s oil fields are taken over by Mishima Zaibatsu control, and his company falls into disrepute, her father suffering greatly from overwork. The Mishima Zaibatsu later announces the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. Lili deduces that she can reclaim her father’s oil field if she wins the upcoming tournament, easing the anxiety of her father. Lili decides to participate in the tournament to save her father.

Tekken 6 Campaign Scenario Mode

Lili appears in one of the stages of this game mode. After being defeated by Lars, she gives them an SUV she acquired from a friend (in which she didn’t like anyway) to somehow help them in their journey. As she leaves to find her rival, Asuka Kazama, she gives a stern warning to Lars that if he didn’t stop Jin Kazama, She will kill Lars instead.

Trivia

• Lili is currently the youngest (human) character in the Tekken series, as she is only 16 in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.
• As seen from her fighting and bowling style, Lili is one of the few Tekken character’s who are left-handed.
• In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Lili’s ascot tie was originally windblown. In Tekken 6, it is straight.
• Even though the official language of Monaco is French and her last name is of French origin, Lili speaks English.This is probably because of some kind of language tutoring.
• Lili has a butler named Sebastian, who appears in her ending movie and is mentioned by Lili in two of her winning quotes.
• Resembles Karin from Street Fighter Alpha 3 and possibly Cassandra from the Soul series.
• Lili’s fighting style is considered street fighting (by way of gymnastics).
